Philippine Airlines announced the resumption of scheduled flights on November 2 with the reopening of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport following the exit of Typhoon Rolly (international codename:  Goni) from Luzon.

PAL said that on November 2, it will operate international flights between Manila and San Francisco , Guam, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Haneda, Fukuoka, Tokyo Narita and Nanjing.

PAL said it would also resume domestic flights between Manila and Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Roxas, Cagayan de Oro, Pagadian, Ozamiz, Legazpi, Butuan, Cotabato, Zamboanga, Kalibo and Caticlan.

"In line with the guidelines of the Manila airport authorities, please plan to arrive at the airport no earlier than three hours before scheduled departure, to avoid congestion inside the terminals," PAL said in an advisory.

"Please ensure that you have all your travel requirements before proceeding to the airport. Please observe PAL's safety and health protocols, which require the wearing of face masks and shields throughout the passenger journey," it said.

PAL said it may need to make other changes as it repositions aircraft and adjust to any revisions in slots and clearances at the affected airports.
