Top management executives from Enchanted Kingdom (EK) and GMA Network recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement engaging GMA Network as a Founding Partner in efforts to promote the theme park’s latest and largest attraction in 21 years, Agila: The EKsperience.

Agila: The EKsperience is the country’s first and only Flying Theater featuring patented motion theater technology that simulates the sensation of flying like an eagle, and presents on a massive 544-square meter movie screen a six-minute multi-sensory film showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the Philippines. This magical flight takes off from an iconic nine-storey glass encased building at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Agila aims to support local tourism, inspire national pride in the beautiful landscapes of our country, and foster a sense of responsible stewardship of the Philippine’s rich natural heritage. By supporting Enchanted Kingdom as Founding Partner in promoting the best of the Filipino and the Philippines, GMA brings to life its official mission to be “one in heart with every Filipino”

The landmark partnership agreement between Enchanted Kingdom and GMA Network was signed by EK’s Chairman and President Mario O. Mamon and Chief Operating Officer Dr. Cynthia R. Mamon, and GMA’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer Felipe S. Yalong.

Mamon describes the attraction as “very specialized”. He adds, “There’s nothing like it that has ever been done in the local amusement industry. It will have motion simulation seats; a total of 105 in all, and on a giant screen you will see how beautiful the Philippines is; so it is a nice attraction, not only for foreign tourists but also educational to our domestic tourists.”

He says that GMA was the first company that EK approached for a partnership towards the promotion of their most exciting attraction to date. “We felt that the Kapuso Network is an industry leader and that their advocacy for the environment and love for country fits very well with what we are trying to achieve with this landmark project.”

Atty. Gozon shares, “Enchanted Kingdom has always been a valued partner. We even have our company outings there, because I feel it is a world-class destination and one that promotes the Filipino value of togetherness with family and friends. Their newest attraction, Agila: The EKsperience highlights the Philippine Eagle, which is a unique national treasure, and one that awe must work together to protect. a”

Agila:The EKsperience will open this December 2016. For more information you may visit www.enchantedkingdom.ph.
