Bata, the global brand that has been a pioneer of innovative footwear for more than 120 years, launches its first store in the Philippines in partnership with SM Retail at the 3rd Level of SM Megamall Building B.

The T & A Bata Shoe Company was registered in Zin, Czechoslovakia by the siblings Tomas, Anna, and Antonin Bata in 1894.  Innovative from the very beginning, it’s all about century old traditions of a one-man cobbler’s workshop.

Bata has been the pioneer of innovative footwear for more than 120 years.

Since that time, Bata has been at the forefront of innovation not only in the production and design of new styles, but in the creation of business models that permit a quick response to the ever changing wants and needs of our customers.

As a result, Bata enjoys a long history as a leading manufacturer and retailer of quality footwear, and proudly serves some one million customers each day.  With more than 30,000 employees, 5,000 international retail stores, and a presence in over 70 countries, Bata is positioned to deliver an unparalleled combination of selection, quality, and service to customers around the globe.

The interiors of the new Bata store at SM Megamall are bright, open, friendly and inviting retail spaces that give customers an exciting and convenient shopping experience.

There’s safety and comfort in each step in these Bata shoes for little boys.

Bata has also brands for the younger market like North Star, a sports casual footwear and accessories brand for the youth market inspired by world trends and young people’s versatility.  There is also Bubblegummers for kids, fun Treats for Feet that brings safety, comfort, softness and flexibility to each step.
