Biñan City—The City Government of Biñan has inaugurated the new Command, Control and Communication (C3) Center, which houses Biñan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BCDRRMO) headed by Ms. Maria Bonacua.
The three-storey building includes the CCTV Monitoring Room with over 160 cameras that monitor the whole city, along with a call center, conference room, and offices.
Mayor Arman Dimaguila and Vice Mayor Gel Alonte, together with Dr. Mahar Lagmay of UP Resilience Institute and Mr. Tadeo Sagritalao from the Office of Civil Defense 4A, led the ribbon cutting ceremony of the edifice.
“Ito ay ini-dedicate natin sa mga kababayan nating mangangailangan ng tulong, sa mga volunteers natin, sa mga firefighters natin, sa mga rescuers natin. Ito’y para sa inyo,” Dimaguila stressed during his speech.
