PBGen Carlito Gaces, Police Regional Office 4A Calabarzon Director, received a special recognition from the Asia’s Golden Icon Awards as “Asia’s Outstanding Police Director” recently at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Hotel Cebu.
“Thank you for this prestigious award, and I feel and l realize l need to do more for the good of the Filipino people,” Gen. Gaces said in his message.
According to the awards body President Dr. Ronne P. Ybañez REV.ENP, “This award is in recognition and appreciation of the leadership and commitment as unique PNP officers in our country who are not always recognized by award-giving bodies”
Gen. Gaces added he is very grateful for the recognition because some NGOs (nongovernmental organizations) and the private sector can see the work they are doing as members of the police.
