Two more Mindanaoan organizations have joined the throngs of volunteers who have signified full and unwavering support for the candidacies of Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

In a press conference at the Hayes, Cagayan de Oro City on Wednesday, the Rebolusyonaryong Alyansang Makabansa – (RAM) District 1 – Misamis Oriental issued a statement reiterating support for VP Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan to be the next president and vice president of the country,
respectively, for the next six years.

The group underscored the high competence, dedication and untarnished public service record of the two officials making them the best choice to lead the nation.

They vowed to campaign and help in the efforts of various organizations to deliver victory for the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem in the coming May 2022 national polls.

Meanwhile, another organization, the Bangsamoro Economic Development
Corporation, echoed the support for Robredo and Pangilinan, saying that the
group is confident with VP Leni’s skills since she became the second highest official of the country.

The group added that Robredo possess the audacity and an impressive track record, things that will surely make her surpass the basic qualities of what a president should be.

“We support VP Leni not because she is a lawyer, economist, and a professor, but because we feel more assured and confident with her skills ever since she became Vice President of the Philippines. We feel more
empowered to see a woman running for President. She represents the faces of every single mothers, women who remain viewed as secondary sex,” Mark Adrian Tagahanan, CEO of Project Mindanao Women Advocacy, said.

Tagahanan lauded VP Robredo for her genuine concern for the underprivileged sectors of the society.

“VP Leni speaks with the ordinary people, may it be a farmer, a vendor, a single mother, or a fisherman. She knows the struggles of the many,” he said.

“And so today we fuse our strength with the IMk Leni movement, or Isang Mamamayan kay Leni, to optimize our support for the tandem of President Leni Robredo, and Vice President Kiko Pangilinan,” he continued.

The Mindanao Women Council Advocacy is a non-profit organization duly established with the purpose of providing capacity building programs for Muslim women, mainly focused in providing them with mental health programs and psychosocial support.

Through their modest objectives, the group hopes to help strengthen the relationship of Muslim and Christian women while contributing to the socio-political and economic development of Mindanao and its people.

“Together with our more than 25,000 members composed of women Muslims and Christians, and our council,s national officers, regional and provincial directors, we, the Mindanao Women Advocacy for Good Governance, hereby signify our strong support for VP LENI and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, as per our resolution passed on May 1, 2022,” the group said in a statement.
