This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

CHESI, a rescued kitten, is the boss in the home of owner Remy Catudio.
“I heard a loud cry and saw a kitten trapped inside a drainage. I asked help from my friends to rescue the poor thing, “ says Remy.
“We got her, all wet and skinny. We dried her up and bought wet cat food. I named her Chesi, “ Remy adds.
Remy says she brought Chesi to the vet for a check-up before bringing her home.
“Now, she is an eight-month-old beautiful baby. She loves posing before the camera and afternoon naps on the couch. She is definitely the boss at home and we love her so much,” Remy says.
Stacey, now one year and two months, was a gift from the aunt of owner Aaron Lingayon.
“I was never an animal lover but when I held Stacey in my arms, I fell in love with her in an instant. She leaned on my chest as if saying ‘thank you’.”
“Stacey loves morning walks and bedroom talks before we sleep. She doesn't sleep without me by her side,” Aaron says.
Aaron adds, “She loves carrots and cucumber as treats.”
Aaron says he looks forward to travelling with Stacey someday soon.
