A ticket sold in Negros Occidental won the P98-million jackpot prize of the Grand Lotto 6/55 in Monday night’s draw.

In an advisory on Tuesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 09-17-45-39-35-15 with a jackpot of P98,551,582. The ticket was purchased in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.

The bettor can claim the check at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of the winning ticket and two identification cards.

Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

A total of nine other bettors who guessed five out of the six winning combinations won P100,000 each, the PCSO said.
About 668 bettors got P1,500 each for getting four of the winning combinations while 15,489 bettors won P60 each for guessing three right combinations.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

This is the third time this month that a sole bettor bagged the jackpot prize of the state lottery.

On March 5, a lone bettor from Rizal bagged the P12.5-million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42 draw while last March 2, a bettor who bought his ticket in Cavite bagged the P8.9-million jackpot prize of the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
