Kamura Highlands Gaming and Holdings, Inc., the newest electronic sabong licensee of the Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), was given a green light to immediately start its games.

During its meeting on April 6, the PAGCOR’s Board of Directors approved the issuance of the Notice to Commence E-sabong operations, formally informing Kamura Highlands Gaming “to commence operations” at its government regulations-compliant 3-hectare Capas, Tarlac sports complex.

PAGCOR approved Kamura Gaming’s electronic platform and evaluated its systems last December after being welcomed to the electronic cockfighting industry mid-November last year as the 8th licensee into the e-sabong industry.

Young businessman Jewel Castro, representing Kamura Gaming, was told by PAGCOR to start operating on May 1, also the reckoning date of the government gaming body for Castro’s private gaming firm’s financial obligations to the government.

PAGCOR, though, warned Kamura Gaming it will constantly monitor the firm’s games to follow the regulatory framework of e-sabong operations.
Castro vowed strict compliance with set regulations by PAGCOR and the Capas, Tarlac local government, which earlier also sanctioned Kamura Gaming’s sports arena in the area.

Topbilled as “World Slashers Live”, Kamura Gaming’s round the clock e-sabong games has under its fold five Philippine-based cockers-breeders groups — World Slashers Alliance, World Cockers Alliance, World Pit Alliance, Centro de Alyansa, and Maginoong Sabungero.
