The Vice President of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina has been found dead in his rented home in Marikina City.
Police identified the victim as Dr. Alfredo Dimaano.
This report is based on the information received by Eastern Police District (EPD) Director Chief Superintendent Romulo Sapitula from Marikina PNP.
Dimaano was 44 years old.
He apparently died of multiple stab woulds, particularly on his neck.
Dimaano lived at Diamond Street corner Sapphire Street in Mariquit Subdivision.
A neighbor discovered the dead body of Dimaano.
Police are conducting an investigation into the killing of the school official.
