On its 50th anniversary, REP is partnering with Ayala Land’s Circuit Makati in a joint effort to make the arts more accessible to different communities.
A re-run of Repertory Philippines’ The Glitter Trap will be staged for the kids and families of Makati’s barangays. The show, to be held on Aug. 19, 3 p.m. at Circuit Makati’s Power Mac Center Spotlight, will be free of charge to selected youth and kids from the neighboring Makati barangays.
“REP continues its efforts of making an impact in the lives of different people with the shows that we produce,” says REP President and CEO Mindy Perez-Rubio. “This partnership with Ayala Land has given us the wonderful opportunity to share that with the Makati community, particularly, its youth.”
According to Ayala Land, Inc. Assistant Vice President Mel Ignacio, “We and REP have many shared values, and making the arts accessible to more people is our common objective for this initiative. We hope to inspire the whole community, and help the young audience develop an appreciation for theater with the meaningful story we show them.”
The Glitter Trap will have another run on Aug. 20, with the same talented cast of actors, directors, and choreographers. Get your tickets early and help fund a show for the kids of Makati.
