Terrafirma rallied back to hack out a 23-20 win against San Miguel in overtime and book the last quarterfinals berth in Leg 4 of the PBA 3×3 Lakas Ng Tatlo Sunday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

San Miguel’s Louie Vigil scores against Terrafirma’s Terrence Tumalip.

The Dyip trailed 14-18 before Dhon Reverente willed the team back and forced the extra period, 20-all.

Reverente later teamed up with Matt Salem to clinch the win for the Dyip, who advanced to the knockout stage for the fourth straight time.

The two teams met in a sudden-death after finishing as the no. 3 teams in their respective pools.

San Miguel lost out Bacon Austria in the early minutes of the playoff after suffering a busted upper lip.

Terrafirma will now meet top seed Platinum Karaoke in the next round.

Earlier, Limitless Appmasters thwarted Sista’s bid of becoming the first team to win back-to-back leg title by booting out the Super Sealers, 21-12.

The Super Sealers ended their pool campaign with a 1-3 record and missed out on a quarterfinals berth in Pool A, which went to unbeaten Platinum Karaoke, Limitless Appmasters, and Cavitex.

Meralco, the Leg 2 winner, and Pioneer Pro Tibay, earned outright quarterfinals berths in Pool B, while Purefoods TJ Titans and TNT took the two playoffs spots in Pool C.

The match ups in the knockout stage will have Meralco taking on Cavitex, Pioneer Pro Tibay against Purefoods TJ Titans, and TNT opposite Limitless Appmasters.
