Acer’s lineup of Vero laptops are known for their powerful performance and eco-friendly designs.
For 2022, Acer has expanded the Vero collection with two brand new laptops: The 14-inch Acer Aspire Vero 14 and the 15-inch Acer Aspire Vero 15.
Both the Acer Aspire Vero 14 and the 15 can be configured with Intel’s 12th Gen Mobile CPUs and have Intel’s Evo certification so they will provide a smooth and powerful computing experience.
The Acer Aspire Vero Intel Evo edition is optimized for multi-tasking and helps deliver seamless full HD gaming or 4K video editing, while lower priority programs and processes run in the background without slowing down performance.
The outstanding features include instant wake, quick responsiveness, industry-leading battery life, and fast charging. Both laptops also come with Intel’s powerful Xe integrated graphics, plenty of DDR4 memory, up to 1TB of SSD storage, Wi-Fi 6E compatibility, and excellent FHD displays.
The Intel Evo platform certification means the laptop is capable of waking from sleep in less than one second, have over 4 hours battery life from 30 minute charge, and over 10 hours real-world battery life.
The designs of the two laptops contain a considerable amount of recycled plastics that are as sturdy as they are eco-friendly. About 30 percent of the overall chassis is made with post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic while the OceanGlass trackpads are made with ocean-bound plastic. Aside from these, the screen bezels use 30 percent PCR plastic, while the keycaps contain 50 percent PCR plastic.
The packaging also takes the same environmentally friendly approach by reducing packaging and print items by 63% to eliminate the need for tens of thousands of boxes. The packaging eliminates plastic bags and protection films.
For repair and future upgrades, users can easily access the insides of the devices by taking out the simple screws on the bottom cover of the laptops.
